Aug 22, 2010 - Cook - Cheese Station

As we head into our busiest season, we currently have an opening for a cook to join our team working the cold station. This job requires working 4-5 night shifts per week. You will be responsible for slicing cheese and charcuterie, along with assisting the hot station. This job is front and center in the restaurant, and you will have to interact with customers, and you may be required to assist the FOH staff as needed.

You should have/be
-Previous restaurant experience
-Food Safe
-Clean work habits
-Presentable and comfortable around guests, as you may interact with customers
-Team mentality / attitude
-Any cheese experience is a plus

Aug 12, 2010 - Head Chef

Au Petit Chavignol is looking for a Head Chef to oversee daily operations of the restaurant.
We are a small 36 restaurant with a focus on wine and cheese. We are located on East Hastings Street in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood.    
We are looking for someone who:

• Has Red Seal or equivalent training
• Has previous experience with food costing, control, management
• Has a commitment to quality, and an eye for details
• Is able to work hands on, in the kitchen each of your working days.
• Is career oriented and interested in working for a solid company
• Loves cheese
